Latest Super Bowl Activity

The latest Superbowl information currently lists the game to be played on Sunday, February 2010 in Florida, starting after 6PM EST. As always, the big game will feature the unveiling of interesting new commercials, big house parties, and of course plenty of great football. This year's teams are both hungry for a win, and the Colts are hoping to capture their second Superbowl win within the past several years. Meanwhile, the Saints would love to bring the NFL Championship home to New Orleans, which was at one point devestated by the destructive Hurricane Katrina.

This year's game will feature two of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL, Drew Brees of the Saints and Peyton Manning of the Colts. In 2009, Manning has a 99.9 rating based on his 4500 yards, 33 touchdowns and 16 INT's. Meanwhile, Brees has a 109.6 rating based on stats of 4,388 yards, 34 TD's and 11 Interceptions. They're just about even in their stats, but Manning may have the edge experience wise. It's been discussed that the Saints seem to do best when they're enjoying a lead in the game, as they capitalize more from the running game. The Colts on the other hand won't mind a shootout between the two squads at all. Both teams had to grind out tough wins in their playoff championship games, taking out the Jets and Vikings to get to the big game.

Superbowl XLIV is sure to feature some great football much like games in year's past. Although the game is scheduled to start after 6 PM EST on CBS, many fans will continue to question what time does the Super bowl start? It's a valid question because sometimes coverage doesn't start until way past the scheduled time, due to TV events and pre-game festivities. Keep checking the latest Superbowl 2010 info for the latest scheduled time.
